Latest Jay's Trip September 2015 Australia - Czech republic - Australia

I've got an briliant idea in July 2015 as find out there's many people going from Australia visit their families back to Czech republic also another not nice thing is my mam has serious problem with spine and might has to go for surgery. My idea is to pay quick visit to my parents and grandma. Of course it took me about one week to deside when or if to go well the return ticket wasn't as cheap as it is 2k AUD.
Even that I'm happy I'm going to do this I was insoired by other chap who surprised his old guys. Right now only my brother and few friends know that I'm on my way.
At the moment I'm trying to save for future trips aroound the world but right the most important trip is to come back to see my old guuys.
Last year some time around July I've spoken to my mam over Viber and she brought an idea me to come home for summer but my reply was I'm busy travelling as I was anytime before I wouldn't imagine traveling can make me so busy as did in 2014. Every day durring the travel of my life I woke up and had list of goals wanted to reach as book tickets, see places, visit events meet people, plan following days/months/time.
Some days I felt like to plan nothing unfortunately if you want to see places and people you have to make a schedule. This year, year 2015 started funny as I couldn't get directly to Australia as I've planned but thanks that I've spent extra month with my malaysian friends in Malysia and Thailand.
During the last few months I've finally got some standard income of kinda stable part time work. I'm not lazy or scared of any work even hard work but some days I'm getting pissed of that I've not money enough to just away do some travel in Asia or at least leave the city (Sydney) for a while. I miss all the space/time to meet new people other cultures, countries right now.
I got few plans by different ways throough different countries. Option a) is standart planes/buses/trains that costs a lot option b) is to go by car/motorbike all way down from australia or indonesia back home to Czech republic this is the most expensive one option c) is travel light story just pack small backpack get by buses/hitch hiking/cycling/walking this is tough, long time consuming but the cheapest one.
It's a pitty whichever road I've picked there are fights in middle east damaging not only heritage sites but also causing hudghe road divesrions in that area.

Live Australian Trip February 2015

On the 1st Feb I came from Redang island back to Kuala Lumpur where wanted to do an fiber optic s course with sinaranoptik.com but these guys cancel the training without letting know luckily didn't pay anything in advance.
Well stayed few days in Matahari lodge hostel on Pasar Seni sorted lot of things on laptop thanks fast wi-fi connection. I've finally visited Batu caves in north end of KL “luckily” durring Thaipusam - a highly symbolic Hindu festival celebrated by Singapore's Tamil community. It is an annual procession by Hindu devotees seeking blessings, fulfilling vows and offering thanks - .
It was over crowded. People were reckless standing – laying at each other on train station waiting for LRT. Once the security open the people mass have runned in many ppl almost fell.
Early on the 5th woke up got taxi from Pasar Seni to KL Sentral /approx. 15RM/ changed for KLIA 2 Airport bus / 10RM/ Arrived there check-in this time without any issues. I usually have problem to fell in the sleep in transport but this time slept most of 5h flight. Landed for second try in Perth as the wind around ground level was too strong.
Went to immigration and was puled away for questioning about self sufficiency for next three months luckily the immigration officer was happy with my answer and I came to Aus again.
At the Perth airport are two options you can take 15$ bus or bus no.40 and 37 for 4.40$ which end up at Esplanade bus station/ terminal.
I bought an Optus sim card 45$/month 3GB, unlimited calls & TXTs middle price offer. Perth is spread te city center is covered with free Perth city and Telstra wi-fi access points which became useful. Transport is easy by buses, trains and taxis. Zone 1 price is 2.90$ zone 4.40$

The places worth to see in Perth are Kings Parks & Botanic Garden /K.P. War Memorial/, the beaches as Scarborough beach, City beach, The Perth Mint, Hyde Park Perth, London Court, Swan Bells, Water labyrinth /you could sit down next to and connect to free wi-fi/, Perth Mosque – was closed whhen wanted to have a look at and Aviation Heritage Museum which is 10min walk from Bull creek train station this one really nice collection of planes some were fighting in WW2.

Also the boat trip to Fremantle and Fremantle itself with the museum, jail, favorite fish and chips places worth it. You can get the City Sight Seeing Perth ticket including the ferry.

From Barrack Street Jetty, Fremantle and Sorrento you can reach the nearby Rottnest Island. The water is nice and clear but bit cold.

Most of the cheap accommodation as backpackers places are around Aberdeen street.

Melbourne
When I was looking for the options how to get to Adelaide or Melbourne I find out the there is no bus, but there is a train but the standard price is $500 to Adelaide or $4000 in Platinum Class. Well the flight was the cheapest option even I wanted to see the desert at the time.

January 2015

The very first plan was to go from Bali to Jakarta, Indonesia. From Jakarta to Adelaide with one stop in Kuala lumpur unfortunately my australian visas expired in November not in January 2015 as expected. Luckily moved to my friends Ashley's Matahri hostel in Pasar Seni, KL applied for my second australian visas (visas 651 which were free) and got these in seven days. Well in the mean time got new destination idea from my friends Ting and Ashley to move to Langkawi, Malaysia and mainly Koh Lipe, Thailand for their birthday celebration.
Right after visas granted booked ticket to Oz on the 5th Feb. We've got booked taxi from Pasar Seni to SUBANG, KL airport it broke down just around the corner but still got replacement and reached flight on time.
Arrived to Langkawi, Malaysia in the evening had small dinner in Chinese restaurant food was nice as usual. After went for second dinner with Cola and his friend that one was even better many different kinds of sea food. I stopped drinking alcohol but it was twins celebration we've got to really nice brand new bar at the cost for a drink. Second drinking place had different magic cheap beer towers /compare to Kuala Lumpur/ well we did few ; )
Next morning took the first ferry to Koh lipe it took around 1 hour was sunny and sea not as choppy. The beach on Koh lipe is so shallow the ferry has to stop at floating jetty 200m away. People and load are then trnsported by longtils to the Koh lipe beach. Arrived to Koh Lipe Sun set beach collected passports from travel office on the beach went to Immigration next door got STAMP AGAIN /the immi officers think the passport has one thousand pages/. Then we got moto taxi for 50THB to the top of the hill close to our Forra diving resort.
Forra diving resort was good pick price was okay stylish bamboo hatches with dive center right on the beach with white sand runned by easygoing French guys. Only the prices were pulled as on sea cost and the orders took usually some time..
Same story as Bali heard too much nice about Koh Lipe and that why it lost the magic no WOW! again. It's nice place for one visit it definitely worth to visit but once only.
Guys went for snorkeling but there was nothing to see if you go there take a swimming shoes there's lot of sharp stones and corrals on sun rise beach the tides are really low too.
Unfortunately didn't go for diving as wound on heel when step through step in the bamboo hatch but hear no extra mainly soft corrals.
After Koh Lipe came back to Kuala Lumpur /90 days stay visas on arrival for most of european countries/ the moved to Redang island help a bit and do some necessary computer work.
